I am still in shock that Easter is on Sunday! How did we get here so fast?  Whether you celebrate Easter or not, it is a time where you get to enjoy some precious time with your loved ones.  This is my excuse to get everyone together and to be able to catch up with family because sometimes life can just get a little bit too hectic.  I absolutely love to watch families dress up this day and look at kids with their cute little dresses and suits.  This brings me to my question…what should I wear for Easter?  I have searched for so many spring dresses and there were a lot of dresses that were pretty but that I knew would not go for my body type.  If you are still looking for dresses to wear for Easter, then here are the best spring dress for your body type.

Pear Shape:  If you are pear shaped like me, I always go for the fitting dress on top and flared at the bottom.  The top and bottom is flattering and it doesn’t make you feel conscious about your hips.  Add a belt to that dress to create a slim waist.  Try to stay away from clingy materials because it will make your bottom look bigger.

Busty: I love A line dresses because it really does flatter lots of different body types.  For this body type, having a great bra is essential.  It really makes a difference how the dress will look at the end.

Apple shaped (for those of us who carry most of the weight around our belly) Choose a dress that is loose around the middle so that the stomach is not the focus.  Maybe you can get an interesting skirt to go with your outfit.

These are only a few of the many different body types.  It’s all about showing off your best assets and embracing your figure.  So have some fun finding the best spring dress for your body and give me an update by commenting below.

Easter did come up on us so fast this year. I really enjoyed this post. So many times I buy a dress because it looks great on the rack but I don’t think about my body shape. Thanks for making people aware.
